Green Tip of the Month

Electric vehicles are the future but they are also expensive right now.

While only so many of us can afford to go truly green when it comes to your mode of transport, there are some simple tips that can help improve your fuel economy.

Did you know, air conditioning is more fuel efficient than opening a window when driving at over 40mph?

Transport Changes

The six-week closure of Humber Street is scheduled to end on Friday, March 19th.
Bollards are being fitted outside Dinostar to block vehicular access to the street which is popular with shoppers and diners.
Public access has been maintained throughout the course of the work and will continue to be available until its completion.

"Did you know?"

Completed in 1981, the Humber Bridge was the world’s longest suspension bridge – that was until its crown was taken by the Akashi Kaikyō Bridge in Kobe, Japan in 1998.

Today, the Humber crossing is the 11th largest bridge of its kind, with bridges in China, Denmark, Turkey and South Korea also out-spanning East Yorkshire’s most recognisable landmark.
